This collection consists of wild flower bulbswhich are native to the UK and suitable forplanting in a shady or partly shaded woodland grave site. Theyare only available from early September through to late November
. Each type of bulb will be packaged and labelled separately and planting instructions will be included.They should be planted out as soon as you receive them.A typical grave will be 7 feet by 30 inches and the pack of 100 bulbs would be the minimum size pack you will need to make a nice display once established. You can increase the pack size if you would prefer denser planting and a quicker result.The Collections are as follows:
Collection of 100 Native Bulbs: This collection will contain the following bulbs: 30 Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) 10 Wild Daffodil (Narcissus pseudonarcissus lobularis) or 15 Lily of the Valley (Convallaria majalis) ** 40 Snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis) *** 20 Wood Anemones (Anemone nemorosa)
Collection of 200 Native Bulbs: This collection will contain the following bulbs: 60 Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) 20 Wild Daffodil (Narcissus pseudonarcissus lobularis) or 30 Lily of the Valley (Convallaria majalis) ** 80 Snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis) *** 40 Wood Anemones (Anemone nemorosa) Collection of 500 Native Bulbs: This collection will contain the following bulbs: 150 Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) 50 Wild Daffodil (Narcissus pseudonarcissus lobularis) or 50 Lily of the Valley (Convallaria majalis) ** 200 Snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis) *** 100 Wood Anemones (Anemone nemorosa) ** from late October, the Wild Daffodils in this collection may be replaced by Lily of the Valley, subject to availability *** from mid-October, Snowdrops in this collection will be replaced by a mix of the other three varieties ie only 3 varieties of bulb will be supplied, but the overall totals will remain at 50, 100, 200, 500, 1,000. Plant the bulbs straight away upon receipt. These bulbs were grown from cultivated stock.
