Flag, SweetAcorus calamus
Tall, introduced perennial with yellow flower spikes from May to July. Scented leaves and rhizome. Iris-like leaves. Used in Mediaeval times as a floor covering. Suitable for very boggy conditions as well as in pond margins up to 20cms.
May be sent as Bare root or plugs.
