Distribution: The Wild Cyclamen is native in Europe and the Mediterranean and has escaped from gardens and naturalised in many areas across southern Britain. It is widely established in some Kentish woodlands.

Habitat: It prefers dappled shade or an undisturbed woodland setting where it will quickly spread, but it will even grow in full sun.

Description: Rosy pink flowers from August to September. Dark green ivy-like leaves mottled with pale silvery-green. It is low-growing 10-30cms.

Uses: Excellent for naturalising amongst trees and in rockeries.

Planting Instructions for Tubers: Plant tubers with flatter part uppermost and rounded part to bottom. They are best planted where they can be left undisturbed. Plant with about 7cm of soil above the bulb, so that the soil covering does not dry out during the Spring. If the soil dries out, the plant may not have sufficient moisture to build up the bulb for flowering the following year.

Plant the bulbs as soon as possible upon receipt.
