The table below identifies the ideal conditions which individual wild flower species prefer. Many wild flowers are tolerant of a wide range of conditions, but others are more particular. If you aren't sure whether your soil is acid (low pH) or alkaline (high pH), buy a soil testing kit from your local garden centre.
